Vintage With Flair - presents ....... "the workshop" ...........

You're invited...

to our very first workshop geared towards any and all “Vintage with Flair's” vendors.

We will be sharing all sorts of our merchandising secrets, to help you translate your personal style into your booth for a happy, successful “show”.

Your coaches for this workshop are Miss Pam. M. (VWF promoter extraordinaire) and “junky sue” of -sue loves junk-.  They are both super experienced in all things vintage.  When it comes to displaying vintage and maker items  in various settings, like retail, events, antique malls and markets they have done it all.  What's their combined experience in years?   Like, 1 million.

Here's what will be covered that afternoon through funny skits, handouts, visual examples, and Q&A.

#1-  “build a booth”  they will literally build a booth from the ground up.  A      primer on how to make your booth beautiful and inviting, on the cheap. Did you know that you only have 7 seconds to draw a customer into your booth?  By the end of the afternoon you'll have the practical display “ammo” to help you be successful.

#2-  “marketing...don't be shy”  they'll give you a detailed breakdown on what marketing is for the small time maker/retailer. How to keep it friendly, welcoming, simple and successful.  If marketing is done right, it will slowly build your own following which gives you long term success.

#3-  “one on one”  Pam and Sue will spend lots of individual time with each of the vendors.  They will work with you and answer any questions specific to your products/vision.

The venue – Sue's freshly renovated “art barn” at her acreage in beautiful downtown Bragg Creek.  (just 25 minutes SW of Calgary)

What to bring
lot's of questions, pick Pam and Sue's brains!

All in all it will be a good time, hanging out in the country with friends (new and old) talking vintage all afternoon!

What you get.

POP UP MARKET - UPDATE

The #popupmarket with some Vintage With Flair Vendors; Carpenter's Daughters, Magpie Maggie, Bear Crossing Mercantile, Bandsforbebe, Vintage Van Go, Avant Garb, Look No Further and John's treasures, was a great day.
The village had Little New York Day's taking place with various activities throughout the area and our vendors brought their own vibe to the day.   Part of our intent was to both support those  vendors who were not able to make it to our actual Vintage With Flair sale in Priddis in June due to the natural disaster that was taking place in surrounding areas, and also to raise funds for #albertaflood relief.  It was successful on both accounts, and we are happy to announce that $380.  has been raised and will be donated to 1 specific family in the High River area.

We thank all our vendors that prepared diligently for both our sale and pop up market, their talent, displays and personality are the ingredients that make for an awesome experience for all !!!

May you each have a blessed summer, enjoying the simple things and beauty along the way..  As I write this a princess is in process of giving birth to a new little person of the monarchy..  blessings to this new life and family !!

Keep tabs on us here!!

Two More Days - Vintage With Flair 2013

Two more days till likeminded creators, designers, entrepreneurs meetup for an amazing showcase of creativity in Priddis, Alberta, Canada.  June 21st 4 -8pm and June 22nd 9 -4pm.  Each vendor brings their style and display techniques in a boutique setting  to present to the world their love of vintage, reusing, upcycyling and individuality!!  Priddis Community Hall is the perfect setting, in the pretty hamlet of Priddis, Alberta, Canada,  and has easy access from Calgary and outlying areas.   Vendor locations are both inside the hall and outdoors under the large carnival tent which allows you our  guests  to browse and  shop comfortably.   A suggestion would be to  bring some mosquito protection.  There will also be a CASH MACHINE  for your convenience inside the hall.  We encourage you to bring a small shopping cart to save trips to your vehicle and to be aware of parking with care.

So, whether you are  wanting to spend some quality time with a friend, sister, mother, significant other, or just because.. we welcome you to join us.  Amy our foodie on site will have again the most amazing tantalising food choices !!!

We thank you our friends and customers who make effort through the year to support many who run small businesses either through cottage industries or storefronts.   That is why we do what we LOVE!!!

Just a reminder that we love our furry family, but there is so much going on that we aren't able to accomodate them at the sale, and please we ask that they not be left in vehicles.. thank-you.

See you in 2 !!

The pieces and creations that YOU OUR AWESOME vendors bring each year !!
