Vintage With Flair - presents ....... "the workshop" ...........
You're invited...
to our very first workshop geared towards any and all “Vintage with Flair's” vendors.
We will be sharing all sorts of our merchandising secrets, to help you translate your personal style into your booth for a happy, successful “show”.
Your coaches for this workshop are Miss Pam. M. (VWF promoter extraordinaire) and “junky sue” of -sue loves junk-. They are both super experienced in all things vintage. When it comes to displaying vintage and maker items in various settings, like retail, events, antique malls and markets they have done it all. What's their combined experience in years? Like, 1 million.
Here's what will be covered that afternoon through funny skits, handouts, visual examples, and Q&A.
#1- “build a booth” they will literally build a booth from the ground up. A primer on how to make your booth beautiful and inviting, on the cheap. Did you know that you only have 7 seconds to draw a customer into your booth? By the end of the afternoon you'll have the practical display “ammo” to help you be successful.
#2- “marketing...don't be shy” they'll give you a detailed breakdown on what marketing is for the small time maker/retailer. How to keep it friendly, welcoming, simple and successful. If marketing is done right, it will slowly build your own following which gives you long term success.
#3- “one on one” Pam and Sue will spend lots of individual time with each of the vendors. They will work with you and answer any questions specific to your products/vision.
The venue – Sue's freshly renovated “art barn” at her acreage in beautiful downtown Bragg Creek. (just 25 minutes SW of Calgary)
What to bring
