I have always loved the Romantic side of decorating  Victorian and Edwardian being my favourite eras.  I restyle old vintage bottles jars and containers, I shabby chic anything and like to give a vintage flair to items used in every day living . My roots are from England and I  LOVE rummaging at flea markets antique stores and  meeting people who share my passion. "

"After years of thrifting and treasure hunting for myself, my close friends and family started asking me to look for items for them...and 'Jill's Junk Shop' was born soon after.  Nothing beats the high you get when you find "that" treasure, making you want to yell out "START THE CAR" like that Ikea commercial.  Treasure hunting is my therapy.  I love anything antique, vintage, or unique.  I am drawn to bright colors, and that is reflected in my home decor and booth items.  I love design.  I love prettying up spaces.  I love when I am able to help a customer find a piece that has sentimental value to it."

 "Years ago, as a newlywed, we refinished furniture because it was cheap!  I remember an old buffet I sanded, primed and painted with ‘enamel’ and it took many months of  work to finish,  but I loved the process of transformation.  After my career in business was finished and I was safely retired, I looked around for another venture to interest me, and the prospects of working with the lovely paint products on the market today were compelling.  I can only hold so many furniture pieces in my little house, so the idea of OpusFive was born.  I chose Opus because it means number in Latin and is used in music, which was my degree.  I chose Five, because over the course of my career, I had four jobs and this venture is my fifth."
